Session Information

I like to shoot my newborn photography sessions with babies between the ages of 5 and 14 days old.  This time frame provides the best opportunity to capture those curly, “womb-like” poses while baby is still so sleepy and can be moved easily into different positions without being awaken.

My number of sessions during a week is limited in order to provide my clients with the best possible experience.  I encourage my clients to schedule their newborn session in their 2nd or 3rd trimester in order to avoid disappointment later.  Sessions are scheduled on the due date.  Then once baby is born you can simply give us a call, shoot a text, or send an e-mail as soon as possible letting us know and we will set a new date in the recommended time frame.  However, if you are just now encountering my newborn photography services give me a call and I will do my best to fit you in the schedule.

All of my newborn sessions take place in the warm, cozy, comfort of my home studio in Kingwood, Texas. Here I have complete control over the lighting, temperature, camera equipment and all props and accessories which provides a smoother unencumbered session.  I provide music, snacks and drinks allowing you to settle in and relax while observing every pose never taking your eyes off of your precious little one.  My newborn photography sessions all take place Tuesday-Friday at 10:00 am.  Sessions can take up to three hours long in order to allow ample time for feeding, cuddling and allowing baby to drift off to a deep sleep with no rush.

In my studio I have a wide array of wraps, baskets, bowls, hats, backdrops, etc. to be utilized for your session.   I like to photograph newborns using an organic style that incorporates a soft, timeless, natural look to focus on your beautiful baby.  I photograph with natural muted, earthy tones and avoid crazy, over-the-top props and sometimes using no props at all in our for baby be high-lighted 100% .   Utilizing a questionnaire and a pre-session consultation phone call we will decide the colors that will fit best with your home decor.

I am a full-service photographer producing fine art portraiture through customized portrait sessions, intense editing, and top quality products.   I use a “create your own collection” model giving you the opportunity to select a fine art piece to display your portraits while allowing you to choose files for your flash drive.

Newborn “Full” Session Package- $699

Newborn “Small” Session- $399

Retainer Fee- $100

Package Includes:

• 1.5 hour studio session
• use of props, backdrops and accessories
• wrapped newborn only
• 10 professionally edited digital images
• $50 print credit towards wall art or album
• viewing and ordering appointment
• online gallery
• product delivery
• (Add Family/Sibling poses for $79. Includes 15 minutes and 3 additional files.)

Newborn “Lifestyle” Session – $799
