As a Houston Newborn Photographer I get to meet all kinds of people I have things in common with. I will say that this session was full of lots of coincidences. Not only was this family from the very town I grew up in but the daddy knew and worked with my sister. It was also a huge coincidence that the mommy’s mother is friends with me on Facebook. That very mother was going to recommend me to her daughter as who she should use as a newborn photographer but didn’t get the chance. Then the daughter had picked me anyway. Wow!

Then on top of that the dad is a minister of the same denomination that I grew up in with my Papa as a minister! These kinds of moments remind me how much I truly love photographing newborns, especially as a photographer working with newborns in Houston.

Baby Blythe was an absolute dream for her session at 10 days old! She was the best Christmas present to her family…. Yes! She was born on Christmas day. She slept the whole time except briefly when she got hungry. So I managed to grab one awake shot. She was the best Christmas present to her family too…. Yes! She was born on Christmas day.

Blythe’s siblings absolutely adored her. When they weren’t busy playing in my playroom, the Kid Cave, I managed to grab some cute shots. Big brother, at 2 years old, was not much of a challenge at all as most kids that age. He did so extremely well! Additionally, working as a Houston newborn photographer makes moments like these truly special.
