Capturing memories in pictures is my passion. I always loved riffling through photographs as a little girl at my Grandmother’s house. Recollecting the days of yesteryear and giggling over how my mother had me dressed. Now I am blessed to capture those memories and freeze those moments in time.  What an awesome job!  I feel so thankful!

The name is Sheila. I am a Christian, daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, friend, and YaYa. My God, my family, and photography are my life.  I have been a photographer for about 14 years.  (As of May 2025)  I didn’t start off shooting newborn babies though.  I took pictures of mostly high school seniors and families.  Once I discovered newborn photography I knew it was a must for me.  I began taking classes on posing, safety, and set design.  I am constantly refreshing my brain as well as learning new techniques.

My style is, well, simply put…organic. I love muted tones and soft timeless looks…..not to say I don’t stray from that on request:)  I am a photographer who likes to take a bit of the indoors, outdoors, and a bit of the outdoors, indoors.  Photographing precious little newborns in the safety of the studio using natural fibers, wooden textures, and earthy tones ensures the focus is completely on the newness and innocence of a birth.   I love to photograph the natural moments of every day. Little ones with un-tucked shirts, wind-blown hair, and dirty faces are simply the sweetest.  Photographs that tell a story…scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind…the way we were…. And forever will be…..in pictures.

I am crazy about coffee….the taste, color, and aroma….especially with my natural bliss sweet cream.  YUM! I love a good pair of jeans, boots of all kinds, high heels, sweat pants, and dangly earrings….but not all at the same time. I love antiques and the stories they hold. I’m a crafter at heart…I get it from my mom and my beautiful daughter got it from me. I love hot pink, polka dots, curly-q’s, and paisley print! Above all…I adore my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Without him, I would be nothing! I give him all the praise and glory for the many blessings and talents he has given me!!
